Studio Process

Its day 15. Halfway through my #30daysofmorningjojo challenge. The enthusiasm of my first two weeks started to wane and I was completely blank today. So, instead of missing a day completely, I decided to play in my studio. I randomly spilled, pasted, and glued. And of course, I drank coffee.

After awhile I looked up and saw the coffee stained splotch in the photo above. For some reason, I really liked it. So I decided to pull out my scrabble tiles, set up a little still life, and photograph it for today's piece. I'm so glad I pushed through and I feel I'll get back on track tomorrow.

There's a lesson somewhere in all this, for sure.
