My great-grandmother sent my grandfather to America to avoid the oncoming tyranny of Benito Mussolini.
Constantino Sporano landed at Ellis Island in 1922. He later fell in love with an Irish-American woman
telling her his name was Fred Murray. Constantino's mother protested this union, refusing to attend their wedding.
