Can art make you happy?

Yes, art changes everything, even your mood if you let it.

If you're in a not-so-good mood, try turning to art. Here are some ideas...

  • observe art
  • plan a future art project
  • make art
  • set up your art supplies to get ready to create art
  • go to an art museum
  • put together a small kit for on-the-art-creating (a couple of pencils, markers, small scissors, glue stick, journal)
  • clean your studio if you have one
  • buy an art supply, or,
  • go to an art supply store and just look around
  • go take some photographs
  • put on your favorite music
  • research what's playing in theaters near you, pick out a show, buy tickets. Go.
What else can you think of? Let us know.

Here's some photos that I took of random art that makes me happy whenever I look at it. When I look at these photos I instantly remember where I was when I created it or viewed it, what the weather was like, how I was feeling, and other good things that make my soul smile.
